NUR150 - Multidrug-Resistant Organisms (1.0 HR)

Purpose: The purpose of this course is to provide a detailed overview regarding the clinical importance of multidrug-resistant organisms in the health care environment. This course will also discuss the most common types of organisms encountered and provide recommendations for preventing their spread. Objectives: 1.Explain the incidence and prevalence of MDROs. 2. Discuss the clinical importance of MDROs. 3. Recognize the different types of MDROs. 4. Explain how to prevent the transmission of MDROs.
