Purpose: The participant will enhance their understanding of compliance issues in healthcare. Objectives: 1. Identify the federal agency responsible for protecting the health of all Americans; 2. Discuss quality indicators for the different healthcare settings; 3. Explore Medicaid/Medicare fraud; 4. Discuss the code of conduct; 5. Explain disciplinary actions that can be imposed for non-compliance with the code of conduct.
